Syed Nasir Shahabudin, CFA holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Monash University (Clayton) Australia and is a CFA® charterholder, CFA Institute since 2003.

He has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets having served in leadership positions at ABN AMRO Asia where he headed its fixed income flow desk, and at Deutsche Bank where he was Head of Structured Finance – Local Markets, South East Asia. He was also instrumental in the development of the Trading and Risk Management Framework for various markets including the Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia and East Asia.

Syed Nasir’s experience extends to cross border financing and acquisitions, including the provision of financing solutions to high net worth individuals and corporations for mergers and acquisition transactions, and transactions involving private credit, private equity and distressed assets.

He is currently providing consulting services to Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (“OJK”) in Indonesia. preparing its 5-year roadmap to develop the securities derivatives markets in Indonesia.

Syed Nasir is presently a Principal Consultant at Qwantum Capital Sdn Bhd (“Qwantum”) and also holds a Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence under Qwantum issued by Securities Commission Malaysia.
